Vivekanand Needam ROB Ready in Gwalior, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav to Inaugurate on April 8

Gwalior, April 7: In a major step towards improving urban connectivity, a newly constructed Railway Over Bridge (ROB) near Vivekanand Needam in Gwalior is now complete and ready for public use. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the bridge on April 8, officially opening it for commuters.
The new ROB is expected to significantly ease traffic congestion in the city. Residents of Lashkar, Kampoo, Aamkho, and surrounding areas will now have direct access to the Collectorate via Naka Chandrabadni and Vivekanand Needam, and will also benefit from smoother connectivity to the Agra-Jhansi National Highway. This development is anticipated to reduce both travel time and distance for daily commuters.
Under the directives of CM Dr. Yadav, the final stages of the ROB’s completion—such as electrification, installation of lighting poles, radium signs, and road furnishing—were fast-tracked to ensure the bridge meets all standard safety and traffic flow requirements.
With the formal inauguration, traffic movement across the ROB will commence immediately, offering long-awaited relief to Gwalior's citizens and marking a significant leap in the city's infrastructure development.
This project is being seen as a key milestone in Gwalior’s journey toward becoming a more connected and efficient urban hub.
