PM Modi to Visit Anandpur Dham on April 11; Gwalior Declared No-Fly Zone

Gwalior/Ashoknagar, 9 April – Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Anandpur Dham, located in the Isagarh tehsil of Ashoknagar district in Madhya Pradesh, on April 11 to attend a major religious event. During this visit, he will have a brief transit halt in Gwalior, stopping for approximately 5 minutes each during his arrival and departure. PM Modi will land at the Gwalior Air Force Station at 2 PM and depart for Anandpur Dham via an Indian Army helicopter. He is expected to return to Gwalior around 6 PM and then proceed to Delhi.

PM Modi to Offer Prayers Ahead of Annual Baisakhi Mela

The annual Baisakhi Mela at Anandpur Dham begins on April 12, attracting thousands of devotees from across India and abroad. Pilgrims will take a holy dip in the Anand Sarovar and offer prayers before Guru Maharaj. A day before the event, on April 11, PM Modi will arrive at Anandpur Dham to pay his respects.

Preparations Reviewed by CM and Senior BJP Leaders

In preparation for the grand event, top BJP and state government officials have already visited the venue. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, BJP State President BD Sharma, and BJP Organization Secretary Hitanand Sharma have all inspected the arrangements on-site.

No-Flying Zone in Gwalior, Heightened Security Measures

A strict no-flying zone will be enforced in Gwalior during the Prime Minister's transit visit. All aerial activities within a 3-kilometer radius of the Air Force Station will be completely restricted. Coordinated meetings between the district administration, police, and Air Force officials are ongoing to ensure foolproof security.

Special Arrangements at Gwalior Air Force Station, Road Backup Ready

Dedicated green rooms, safe houses, and PMO units are being set up at the Air Force Station for the Prime Minister. Different officials have been assigned specific responsibilities. In case of inclement weather, an alternative road route to Anandpur Dham has also been surveyed by security agencies as a contingency plan.

Increased Surveillance at Hotels, Bus and Railway Stations

Security has been intensified across Gwalior in anticipation of the Prime Minister’s brief visit. Police teams are inspecting hotels, checking entry registers, and verifying the credentials of out-of-town guests. Search operations have been heightened at bus stands, railway stations, and key city entry points.

Emergency Preparedness in Three Major Hospitals

In line with standard security protocols, emergency arrangements have been activated in three major hospitals across the city to respond to any medical emergencies during the Prime Minister's visit.

The Prime Minister’s visit holds religious, cultural, and administrative significance and is being supported by extensive security and logistical arrangements.
